A Dolly Parton party for twin 8 year olds!
This adorable Dolly Parton themed party is the 5th party I’ve photographed for this sweet family. The Beijos Events team designed and planned this one ( as well as the others! ) and I think this one is my favorite one yet. “What would Dolly do?”… well she would throw a party at a horse ranch in Orange County, serve adorable sweet treats, pizza and drinks. Have multiple craft tables and of course horse back riding too! “It’s hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world” but Stella and Charlotte and all their lucky friends managed to pull it off!

Let the kids play!
Letting the kids play, letting the kids be silly and letting the kids get wet and sandy is always a fun idea! Sometimes it’s ok to relax on the rules during a session and let the kids be kids. The smiles will be natural and the moments genuine. Sure there will be moments of madness but it always works out in the end.
Sur La Table Wildflower collection with Beijos Events
Sometimes you get so lucky and everything just perfectly falls into place. It had been grey and dreary every day before this shoot and then the day of the sun came out and the super bloom of flowers had its moment to shine! An outdoor picnic amongst the flowers is the perfect place for the Wildflower Collection by Sur La Table to be photographed and that we did. This one is going down in history!

Family portraits in the park
This sweet family have been with me for awhile now… ever since Mama was pregnant with little sister! At this point they feel like friends and I look forward to our sessions together each time. Here’s a few of my favorites from their most recent gallery.
Welcoming Baby Brother
I’ve been photographing the Edwards family for a while now and was so happy to be able to capture this time when littlest baby brother was so itty bitty.
New clients often have many questions about how many images come with my different session packages and I wanted to show an example of a client’s top 15. Out of the 100 + that were on the gallery these are this family’s personal favorites.
There’s always the option to purchase additional images with my sessions but the 15 retouched high resolution images that come with a newborn session are often the perfect amount.
Camp Barbie birthday party!
“Hi Barbie!!”
Every year my dear client Kristen Dimond throws an epic party - or three(!) for her daughter’s birthdays. This past year right before the Barbie movie was released, the Dimond family hosted “Camp Barbie” for their daughter Piper’s 8th birthday.
Complete with bounce house, individual tents, custom churros, spa treatments, yoga and more this party was as fun as it was gorgeous. This one is one for the books and I’m so happy I was able to capture all the fun!

The Holidays Campground
When Jacquelyn from Beijos Events asks if you want to go glamping with her family at The Holidays Campground in honor of Father's Day you say yes!
I've been seeing this adorable campsite pop up in my instagram feed for awhile now and have wanted to go since the moment I saw the vintage trailers and realized they were perched on the cliff tops right above one of Justin's favorite surf spots in San Clemente.
This is such fun and easy way to get your family away for the weekend. We felt like we had a true adventure and we were only 30 minutes from home.
I came away with so many sweet images from our trip and these just are a few of my favorites.
Here's to more summertime family adventures. xx
Baby brother on the way.
There is something so special about maternity portraits when there is an older sibling there to love up on Mama and the baby on the way.
This session is full of so many sweet moments, and that happy little blondie... she melts me!
A sweet Family Portrait session in the hills.
I've been photographing this family, since little miss was a little baby.
One of my favorite things about this job of mine is being able to watch kids grow. Seeing their personalities flourish and the confidence bloom! The first time it took a little time the kids to warm up, now I'm greeted with hugs and big smiles.
The prettiest Kids Christmas Party...
The girls of Beijos Events and Wild Child party created this gorgeous party for their lucky kiddos.
Yet again the dream team came together to create so much prettiness!
